Future stuff probably will be earlier but because Brainfeeder were helping me push this as a big release they didn’t want it to affect the impact of the main release time (which is oddly specific, don’t you think?). Anyway this is Cream. Please enjoy it. I won’t bother describing it. It is quite self explanatory really. A bit different from my usual method of storytelling. Deer Flower is a stop-motion-animated recount of an event that happened to me when i was little. I attempted to translate my own experiences on screen and to reinterpret my memories to cinematic experiences, using stop-motion, 2D animation.

10 year old, Anya (Amaris Miller) lives and cares for her mother, Amanda (Zawe Ashton). When Derek (Morgan Watkins) threatens to come between them, Anya takes matters into her own hands in order to protect her home. Little Soldier is a darkly comic drama about the power of one girl’s imagination to change her own world.
Written and directed by Stella Corradi and shot on 16mm by renowned DoP Robbie Ryan BSC, Little Soldier was made under the London Calling scheme awarded by Film London and EEFF in 2015. It has screened in the festival circuit internationally and was awarded Best Female Director at the London Short Film Festival by the Bechdel Test Fest and various special mentions including Cork International Film Festival for Best International Short and Underwire Festival for Best Screenplay.
A 10-year-old boy sets off on a long-promised adventure with his father to discover Europe’s biggest dam. But as they progress, harbored feelings surface and their relationship is put to a test. The dam they eventually face is not the one initially dreamed of.
