Blue Skies by Jon E Price

Blue Skies introduces Blue Lab Beats and music from their forthcoming EP, Blue Skies. The film profiles a small but tight-knit group of musicians on the London scene who’ve grown up listening to grime, hip hop and neo-soul as much as the jazz greats. It’s a London thing!

Premiered on Dazed. Full article here http://ift.tt/2azENYX

NEW YORK, NEW YORK by L M J

My cinematical approach of capturing this beautiful city.

I’ve been to NYC for 7 days and I decided to bring my camera with me. I honestly fell in love with this city.
My main concept was the approach of capturing the spirit and the diversity of it.

Shot completely handheld with the Sony A7S + modded Helios 44M-6 and Auto-Aragon 135mm

Tomato by Caitlin Craggs

A juicy moving picture about words, the world and a beloved, oft overlooked fruit. Tomato is the first in a series of bite-sized, visually punny films that reconsider some of the most humble and ubiquitous foods on our plate— the ways we define and consume them, and also how those foods might be defining us!

I’m delighted to say that the awesome folks at Real Food Media are also including Tomato in their Lens on Hunger event-in-box toolkits. Click below to learn more about the project and to learn how to put together your own pop-up food film festival!

The Accidental Origin of the Hit Song ‘American Woman’ by Great Big Story

The song “American Woman” by The Guess Who wasn’t ever supposed to happen. It wasn’t planned, staged or pre-mediated. Yet you all know the iconic riff. Sometimes all it takes for a hit song to form is an accident, a bit of luck and a whole lot of inspiration. For Randy Bachman and The Guess Who, that’s exactly what happened.
