This is a photo of Abell 2744, or Pandora’s Cluster is a giant galactic cluster located 3,982 million light years away in the constellation Sculptor. The cluster is thought to have a very violent history, having formed over 350 million years from a cosmic pile-up of at least four smaller galactic clusters.
