When Victor #Hasselblad created his legendary camera, I don’t think he ever planned on it being used for a photograph like this! For those who don’t know, the Hasselblad was the camera chosen to be taken on all of the U.S. space flights by #NASA. I used a #500C with two #Honeywell #880 strobes. One mounted on each side of the camera using a custom holder fabricated by my dad and I. I had some serious lighting power. In the outdoors where light just drops off, it helped. Shot using #Kodak #TriX, my #BlackAndWhite #Film of choice back then. I used #Microdol to develop it, it gave me a little better grain pattern than #D76 developer which was more popular.
