That is a personal project that have been made as an extension for commercial project. At a spring 2017 I was helping ONY studio to present their project for the Tretyakov Gallery — you could check it below. One part of it was a cg-short with spray cans flying around in a for of letter T — the main element of a new id-system that ONY had made for the Gallery. The point was to complement a real camera shot and make a sort of transition to cg-graphic so we could easily present the id-style on different mediums using cg. After work was done I have challenged myself to do a similar short for every Gallery’s direction — classic paintings, modern art, franchise and others — which presented by seven colours in id-system.

NIOFAR by Hugo Lemant

NIOFAR tells the story of a French girl who went to settle in Senegal and meet its inhabitants. In Wolof, Niofiar means „to be together“.

This personal film is a metaphor of the amazing and unique experience lived by Hugo’s brother. He lived for one year at Grand Mbao, a small village of Senegal. There, he shared the day to day life of the villagers, and settled completely. learning the local language, giving himself and investing himself totally to them. Over there we called him the « Sénégaulois“ a mix between the words Senegal and the Gauls.

Thanks to Colin, the rushes taken in Grand Mbao have a powerful strength of truth has they have been taken from the closest point you can get of the community. The characters are not disturbed by a foreign presence et forget the camera. The portraits the film depicts are fixed in authentic moments of life.

A story inspired by Colin Lemant

Aerial Project „33K“ by Vincent Laforet

This is a very special projected to me that I conceived of and directed for one of my favorite clients who shall remain nameless for now. Over several months of prep and R&D we modified a LearJet and flew above the earth looking straight down at the shear beauty of what Mother Nature has to offer us that we all too often miss from the ground. Shot on RED in 8K.
