Athletes spend more than 40 hours a week training for the Olympics. Here’s a look at a few athletes striving to make the team this year, plus some insight into what makes it worth it.

This is the Director’s Cut of a film funded by Dick’s Sporting Goods and made in collaboration with Anomaly NY. The Dick’s Sporting Goods Contenders program employs these athletes and hundreds more around the country, helping them achieve their Olympic dreams.

Waves on Mars?? by Foster Huntington


Prompted by the discovery of liquid water on Mars by NASA in the fall of 2015, Waves On Mars?? follows the journey of three planetary scientists, Trevor Gordon, Spencer Gordon and Landon Smith, on a trip to the Red Planet in search of waves.

Well, actually its a short film about a month long sailing trip, but its more fun if we pretend.
