The Last Flight To Agadir – Harrison Roach in Morocco by surfstitch

Under the unforgiving cliff faces lay peeling waves…one after another. Unridden walls, pushed and thrown by a howling offshore and shadowed by a dry desert landscape. Created by powerful, Atlantic ocean ground swells these walls track towards land, becoming intense and perfect by the time they reach the western coastline.

The Last Flight to Agadir is a SurfStitch short film, directed and shot by Andrew Gough featuring surfer Harrison Roach chasing a far fetched but much dreamt about swell in Northern Africa.

Monster Children & Levi’s Skateboarding Present: Skateboarding In Christchurch by Monster Children

Monster Children and Levi’s Present: Skateboarding in Christchurch

On February 22nd, 2011 a 6.3 magnitude earthquake ripped through the centre of Christchurch followed by severe aftershocks killing 185 people, destroying a city, a community and the lives of thousands of people. 5-years on and the rubble still lies in the streets of Christchurch as a cold reminder of what mother nature is capable of.

Thanks to Levi’s® Skateboarding we were able to give back to a community in need, following the lead from previous projects from Levi’s Skateboarding in Bolivia, India, Oakland and most recently Pine Ridge.

Sky Magic Live at Mt.Fuji : Drone Ballet Show by MicroAd, Inc. by Sky Magic

Beautiful backdrop of the world heritage site Mt. Fuji was used to stage the first Live performance using MIDI controlled LED flying machines, accompanied by Shamisens, the Japanese traditional guitars.

This was done so by utilising more than 20 units of these flying machines, flight swarming formations, music, and 16,500 LED lights to combine into a single audio visual extravaganza. Furthermore, we are able to control the flying machines, visual and audio aspects concurrently, using the DMX512.

Edouard Martinet | Insectophile by Sladmore Contemporary

Take one workshop full of junk and a Frenchman with an eye for detail (not to mention an obsession with bugs) and you will find the most eclectic mix of metal insects this side of a sci-fi novel. This short documentary follows Edouard Martinet’s patient and extraordinary process as he creates sculptures that are utterly beautiful, distinctly creepy and somehow completely true to nature. All this despite his medium being piles of bent metal and old rusty bicycles.
