„X-29“
Pictured above is a Grumman X-29. First flown in 1984 by NASA. It was a purely experimental aircraft. Being the first jet aircraft with forward swept wings since Nazi Germany. It was operated by both NASA and the United States Air Force. Only two X-29s were ever built both being identical except for one not having a spin recovery parachute. There is only one confirmed benefit to having the forwards swept wings, increased controllable climb rate. The aircraft flew from 1984-1991 with a total of 242 flights.
