On the tenth day of #physics my faculty gave to me, Einstein’s 10 #fieldequations. 🎶 Einstein’s field equations are a set of #equations within the general #TheoryOfRelativity that describe how the curvature of #spacetime affects the fundamental interaction of gravitation. #Einstein first published his findings in 1915, which determined the spacetime #geometry resulting from the presence of mass-energy and linear momentum. These equations are really neat because they reduce to Newton’s law of gravitation when the gravitational field is weak and velocities are much smaller than the #speedoflight. These equations are also used to study gravitational waves, a phenomena physicists are hoping to detect within the next few years. #MakePhysicsHappen
